After 27 years of Law Enforcement I wished I could have done some of a thing that Sipowicz did but that was television and not real life. My fights were on the streets and a couple inside the jails, but only one during the interview when he took the first swing. Sipowicz is a cop's cop, like many of my friends except they stay within the rules. I am going to miss him.

30 yrs, retired 1998. As usual TV and real life are different. But still entertaining and sometimes "wish" I could have done that!!!
Next week 2hrs!! Don't schedule anything else.

I'm 18 years still on the job. Absolutely not real life, but one heck of a show and the Andy character was the glue that kept it going all those years. This is also the last season for Third Watch and Enterprise (Star Trek), plus some other good stuff. Makes me want to turn my dish network dish into a Wok to fry donuts in. Seems all that will be left is the "bug eating" reality TV which I ain't watching!

I've been carrying a police commission since 1969. Andy's is a great character and well acted by Dennis Franz. I've worked with some standup guys like Andy in the past. As said before, "Andy, we're gonna miss ya".

I also heard that JAG is losing Harm. It seems that David Elliott, the actor that plays Harmon Rabb is leaving the show after this season to "pursue other interests".

Hi All,
Yes it was a good episode, and a good ending to another great show!! I guess all good things have to come to an end sometime!! Like Dragnet, Barney Miller, Hill Street Blues & Homicide Life on the Street just to name a few!!

Thank you Andy! (Dennis) You will be missed. How fitting was the conclusion of this series with Sipowicz sitting at his desk reviewing cases.

It's going to be just fine, Andy is still on the job at the 15th. Thank you for 12 years of good Police work. I always finished watching NYPD Blue hoping that there were in fact good cops out there that had that type of talent for Police work. I just felt good watching the series much in the same way as wathing Law & Order with cops like Jerry Orbach.

I'm really missing Jerry.
