I've had my doc tell me the same thing ...and my police office son recently got the same from his doc. I carried a trifold for many years, then recently came across a new wallet design I really like ...wish I had thought of it and got a patent so I could get the proceeds!! Google savvycaddy ...works great in virtually any pocket ...I love it!

He balked at the idea of a purse - I don't think he'll go for a bra...

My DW is one of kind, she actually puts money in my wallet. The first two certainly didn't do that. No, I've had her for 19 years and you can't have her.

I've carried only a money clip since '76. I had my jeweler make one that is wide enough to carry DL, credit card(s), and insurance card with bills folded over on the outside.

Charlie Two,

I had back problems many years ago and my chiropractor said the wallet in the back pocket was not helping. I decided that I'd get a bag...I chose a small gym bag with zippered compartments...not sissy-looking at all and I'm able to carry things around that are usefull too.

Money clip for me too. I only have one credit card so I carry it and a couple other things in a small card case that's barely noticeable in any pocket.

On a side note: When I find my self somewhere I feel uncomfortable I put my old wallet in my back pocket with a few $ and a couple cards from old accounts. If I get mugged, I'll give it to them and hope they don't look too closely until they're gone.

Yep, that's the first thing my doctor told me. Put the billfold in the front pocket. I've gotten used to it now.

I have to thank my wife for the solution!

She spends my money before it gets to the wallet.

Wallets thinner.....voila, no sore back!

4 back surgeries later, I just switched hip pockets (now I carry in my left). But most times I just take it out and set it on the console while I drive.

30 years ago realized back pocket didn't work tried the console, someone stole the car, now money clip with a compartment for debit card and DL. All has been good for 25 years.
