No Billfold?

I've been having problems with my lower back more than usual. I'm not so sure that it isn't my billfold. It's a trifold but not that thick. What in the world would a guy use instead of his billfold? Maybe put it in your front pocket? Getting old ain't for sissies.

Get something thin like a business card holder, and put it in your front pocket. Driver's license, insurance card and one credit card (plus $$) are all you need to have actually ON your person. put the fattie in your bedside drawer and get stuff out as you need it.

BIL had to give up his back-pocket wallet because of back problems in his 40s.

I was told by my Doc to NOT sit on my billfold when driving or sitting for a long time. Said it screws up your back alignment. Got used to carry in front pocket overseas any way. Helps deter a pick pocket.

Agreed. That's what my chiropractor also said. Front pocket.

I like the cargo pants and the wallet in the leg pocket when I have to drive and/or sit for a while.

My trifold wallet was bothering my hip especially on long drives. I use a small camera case that goes over my belt. The main compartment contains my cell phone and various gas cards etc. A small compartment on the front has just large enough to put folded bills covered by a velcro flap. No more hip problems.

You could always get a man purse.








I pull my wallet out when driving as well and put it in the cubby in my semi. I used to be able to handle sitting on it for 8-10 hours a day but can't do that anymore.

Remember it's not a man purse but a satchel. Indiana Jones had one...

I switched over to a money clip a few years ago. Bills go on the inside and has two thin pockets for DL, insurance card and CC. Keep it in my front pocket.

I had problems with my right leg on long drives, it would ache so much I could not concentrate. A real b***h without cruise control. Finally one day I removed my wallet from my hip pocket as it was uncomfortable to sit on. No, I definitely did not have too much money in it.
What a difference. I must have been pinching a nerve in my butt that led to my leg.

There are several names Murse, Manbag, etc. But if you start out with a computer bag and load your stuff into that, no one bothers you. Men carry computer bags all of the time.

If I'm walking someplace and shopping, I'll stuff my wallet into my back pocket. Almost all the rest of the time, it is in the computer bag, along with a bunch of other stuff that I like to keep with me. Most of the time, I put the computer bag behind the back seat of the car.

Because I don't like multifunction devices, I end of with a quite a pile of stuff. I have a camera, a PDA, a tactical flashlight, an iPod, glasses cases, a Leatherman, a couple of flash drives, etc. Stuffing the wallet in that pile is no big deal whenever I'm in a vehicle. I'm not at all worried about hauling it in someplace and plopping it down beside next to a chair (with the strap under the chair leg for security of course.)

You could always wear a bra. It's amazing what can be hid in there. Seriously, it works great for me.

Actually, I do that only when I'm wearing a skirt or dress without pockets. Otherwise, I keep my folding money in the watchpocket of my jeans and the few cards I carry (all ID except for a debit and credit card) are kept in a little leather business card case in my front pocket. I usually carry a purse but I don't like carrying all my eggs in one basket.

Same as I use. Just make sure you get one with a strong clip. Mine has a magnet that holds the clip. Some of them will hold just a couple of dollars. Come to think of it, that should work for me.
