20 years ago, my company was bought out by the big grocery company in Eden Prairie, and I kinda got a job offer to transfer there. I told them that nobody m oves to Minnesota, because they only have 2 seasons, winter, and the 4th. of July. I have never regretted not moving. Eddie Elk.

Ah it could be worse.. Michigan has only two seasons, Sledding and road construction.

That said. I'm in South Carolina for the winter.. And if (in)Accuweather is to be believed (Which is not a good idea on the long term page) We've seen the last of freezing weather.

Of course, they said that last week on the long term page, the short term page said something quite different.

But I have Faith, I stowed my winter hose last Saturday... I may drain the summer one a few extra times (it is easier to work with) but I stowed the winter one..

Ive learned the news stations like to sensationalize the snow fall in order to increase ratings. People are going nuts over 6 inches of snow anymore partially due to all the hype given by news outlets. (go get your bread and milk tonight cause the snow tonight will shut things down at least til mid day tomorrow). Lol
It would be nice to have at least a few days above freezing to wash the salt off the cars without freezing the doors shut.

Oh and I checked a farmers almanac just to see if they were more accurate.. Nope not even close.

Well, it finally warmed up above zero here. Yesterday we had sun and almost 20°F. Today we're getting maybe 7" of snow. Tomorrow sun and by Thursday more snow. Wheee!

I am sitting here, in shorts, it is 70 degrees, looking out the window, watching the snow fly. We have about a foot on the ground, with another 6 to 7 due today. Bah humbug. BUT Only about 18 weeks, and the days will start to get shorter..sigh !!!!

"They just starting ads announcing 7" of snow tonight thru tomorrow,"

Do they actually put ads on the TV for that? Or did you just see it on the news?
