Where are you? Here in Buffalo it's 70 today with not a cloud in the sky. And to think, we are the ones who get the bad rap for weather.

If that is a heavy wet snow you may want to see if you can get it off of your roofs safely. Other wise it has been known to collapse buildings. But, people also have been known to die trying to get it off of the roof too.

Just what I would expect from North Dakota! DW just mentioned from the kitchen that it is snowing here as well. (it is 41 deg) I don't expect it to amount to anything but it is in the air in Iowa as well! They say spring is coming. I can prove that by watching a steady stream Snowbirds and Winter Texans heading North each day along I80 and I35. I also noticed the spring migration of White Pelicans out at the Lake this morning. They stop by for a visit each spring and Fall.

Yep....global warming last Spring has created global warming...NOT... this Spring.

Think the worst part is that since we left FL in mid-Feb to New Orleans to Big Bend to Santa Fe to OK and now Omaha...I'd wager we have had no ore than 5 days where the wind didn't blow minimum 15 MPH...most days 20 MPH or higher. And yes some snow too.

Ed, in Buffalo, you got a reprieve this year, but you'll pay the price for the next five. Today's your day, taxes are done for another year...you better buy that Entegra and join those of us out here bitching about the weather full time.

I suppose the only bright light about it being such a cold winter up here is that it is pushing the snow further south. Feel for you guys. By the time the snow melts we won't be able to travel south due to the newly formed Lake Southern Manitoba/North Dakota. The weather only toughens us all up. See the video of the Canadian geese chasing the Gorilla in the Kansas zoo? Guess they were a little pi*#ed at flying back to winter.

17.x" of snow from the last storm. Took a few hours with the tractor/snowblower to clean off the driveway. Snow is piled 5+' along the driveway and into the woods. 4+' of snow on the lawn. It's going to take some warm temperatures to melt this stuff. Our temps have been running 15-20 degrees below normal (51F) for this time of year. Our first campout is the first weekend in May. Hope the snow will be melted enough.
