Sorry to politely disagree.

1. North Korea is far from surrounded. North Korea shares a border with their ally, China. China has supported North Korea since the 1950's. This stalemate situation caused General MacArthur to be relieved from command.

2. Our armed forces are poised to defend not attack.

Mick: Agree, but: In a discussion on the dreaded Fox news,--Previous UN ambassador stated- He and his father have told the North Korean people they are still at war, they (falsely) insist their enemies have them surrounded as justification for maintaining a large army while poverty is so bad.

Truth has nothing to do with what the N. Korean people are led to believe.

News media here has downplayed the threat, "Little Kim" or the "Fat kid" don't seem to generate much cause for concern. I don't think the situation is anything to make light about. There is DPRK artillery in fortified caves all along the DMZ, an attack on the over 10 million people in Seoul could occur before any response could be initiated.

Another way this could effect the RV industry is how closely China will stick with north Korea as things escalate. If it ever came down to the US blocking products from China there are probably few manufactures that could continue to build a complete RV without having to resource a number of parts.

That's never going to happen. The rich Walton family that get all the products they sell at wall-mart from China will never allow us to block products from China. And the Chinese wouldn't let it happen either. They are making way to much money selling us all there junk products.

I once talked to a man once that was stationed in South Korea and he said it was a beautiful country but, very, very, polluted. I don't know how that helps the point of this thread but, that's all I know about the Korea's.

He's jealous of the prosperity and ample supply of food the south has, while he spends millions, if not billions for nukes and missiles. NK is full of false promises and is trying to bribe the US for more aid the poor people will never see. It will all go to his military.

I was in SK in the late 60s. They dumped raw sewage in ditches that flowed along the side of village roads. They have clean personal habits but don't give a rat about the environment. Again, that was in the late 60s, right before the Pueblo was seized.

Take that back!

We're number one in that department- North Korea doesn't even make the list of the
Top 15 Countries in per-capita war spending.
