Mike: Having grown up on the MS Gulf Coast, and having lost our home twice to hurricanes, I can still only imagine how horrid the conditions are in Mexico. My prayers will join all of the others as we wish you and all of your friends in the area, God's Richest Blessings for a speedy recovery and vastly improved conditions.

I don't want to get outside Forum rules and get banished, so I sent a query about what is allowed in the way of this type of discussion to a Moderator.

In the mean time, if encyclopedias are in Spanish, they can go to a good home for sure. Anybody interested in helping please email me at mike at fleming dot cc (not dot com).

If you want updates on the chaos, go to Baja Nomad, click on Baja News, then chose a thread. The Jimena thread has nothing of interest till about page 35, the Mulege threads are more directly about the wind & flooding there.

...I am sure it will be best to keep the donation information confidential for most folks - so please can everyone who might be interested in donating to this cause please contact EngineerMike at his email address found here. I have met E-Mike - so I know this is for a good cause being sponsored by a good man...
Good Luck, Mike!

Photos from Mulege (pronounced Moo-leh-hay), 85 miles north of Loreto, 630 miles south of San Diego, on the Sea of Cortez for those who haven't been.
