I really believe in random acts of kindness and Karma.

I always believe that something good will come back. Just yesterday ran into a couple that slid off the icy road into a snow covered ditch. No AAA or money for a tow truck. I have a steel cable I carry in my truck. Me and a guy with a bobcat helped pull them out. They were a young couple and the young girl was almost in tears so happy we could help.

Makes you feel good!

Been 'down that road' several times DP, several times. Folks beach launching their 'boat' off a mud beach (getting it/you back out is a whole different story), snow banks up on Mt. Ashland, etc. 4x4 and a 25' tow strap is standard carry.

I think all the negatives were removed. But all you thinking about it - take note!

Thanks for clarification! Living I Plano, I didn't open the link. I was on another thread here and saw a negative post disappear almost before my eyes. Thought maybe that happened again.

One request. which by the way was satasified in the news story case.

When a police officer does something nice for you.. WRITE THAT THANK YOU and send it to his boss.

I've done that on a few occasions.> Even with Detroit Police (not noted for being the nicest department in the country) .. Also Ohio State police.

In a couple of other cases.. The letter I wrote was not so nice.. But then those officers did not stop and assist either.

There are still good people in the world. I truly believe the majority of police officers truly do their job to protect and serve. A few bad apples give the majority a bad name. That $100 was probably a lot for that officer on his pay. But good deeds to generate good karma. I hope it comes back to him many fold!

A real nice story! Maybe the fellow that received the $100 will someday in the future be able to pay it forward to someone else. The police officer set a real good example for him to follow.

I have been to Vegas and have as yet to get a $100.00 and I have family in Plano so we are there a lot and haven't gotten one from there either. Guess I'm not in the right places. Stories like this are truly wonderful.
