Good luck to you 75racer... I see no retirement in my future,, except ,,,,,,, but we are doing ok,, for now... One day at a time... The rather large corporation I work for will fire you in a heart beat...

I was working for a large corporation too. Now I will be cleaning a local court house and jail in the city I live in.

At least you choose to work,,, good for you !! An old friend of mine has been on unemployment for a year now,, around here that's pretty much his choice,, (not his first time) which I Do Not agree with... I know jobs are not everywhere,, (another thread) ,

MY DW AND I ARE GOING TO TRY AN RETIRE JAN.31st 2013.I KNOW WE ARE READY.I AM 63 AND DW WILL BE 70 IN FEB.THE THINK I SEE A REAL PROBLEM WITH IS MEDICAL INS.EVERYONE WE TALK TO JUST GIVES US THE RUN-A-ROUND.I GUESS WE WILL FIGURE SOMETHING OUT.I JUST WANT TO BE IN OUR MH AS MUCH AS WE CAN.GOOD LUCK TO ALL AND BE SAFE IN YOUR TRAVELS

I'm glad to hear about your success is finding employment. I hope that this opportunity turns into the job that you've dreamed of. Keep peddlin'.

It's been my experience that jobs go to the relentless. When a prospective employer understands your sincerity and desire for a job at his/her store or company, your chances improve many fold. Sitting at home a mailing resumes doesn't "cut the mustard" in this job market unless you have a very unique talent.
