So, what gives with the sign lady? Have things changed since the early days of this thread?

Sign lady has given up. She hasn't tried to put any more signs in our yard. In fact, all of those that felt compelled to plaster our corner with signs have apparently gotten the message. I'm certain that I'm the scourge of the neighborhood. The good news form me is that I just dealing with other neighbors rather than an organization with legal power over me. Requests have been made of me to place signs and for most of them I've agreed. If they ask, only put it up for a couple of days and promptly remove it, I really have no problem with a sign. It was when I had clusters of them that I objected.

We just completed an axillary building project. Among other things, we use it to store our RV. The old barn (which the Town made me take down) was oriented differently and, for the most part, blocked the view of the back of our property in that area. Since it is gone, everyone can see through to piles of wood, etc. that I had there. If figured that if there ever were a time when sign lady would try to get back at me, this would be it. There has been nary a peep. I'm still working to recycle some of the material from the old barn and it doesn't look as neat as it could. I was expecting a visit from code enforcement, prompted by sign lady. Fortunately, it hasn't happened.
