The die is cast. My last day on the company payroll was 11-11-11. I finally made it to the point where the money is a push. I'll net the same retired as I did working for a living. November 11 will not only be remembered by me as Veterans Day but also as the beginning of a new life for my wife and I.

Over Thanksgiving one of the daughters and her family will be staying in our motorhome. After that we will be heading to the California coast to decompress for a while. The ocean always seem to recharge us. After nearly 40 years on the job I need a little time to adjust and get used to this new life.

Congratulations! I retired twice, once from the Army and my final retirement was last month. So far, I haven't missed getting up a 4 in the morning to go to work. Best of luck.

Congrats I took the plunge last April and can truthfully say that working is greatly overrated! Best of all, every Sunday you can look in the mirror and say, "I don't have to go to work in the morning!"

On the bold, I seriously doubt you'll have trouble with that. I was OK with it by the end of the second day!

CONGRATULATIONS!
