Just got finished watching the medal presentations for the men's moguls from Vancouver. An American with the bronze, an Australian for the silver, and Alex Bilodeau, a proud Canadian with the Gold. Even seeing it on TV, it was one of the most stirring medal presentations that I've ever watched.

The entire nation is proud of that young man. Congratulations!

Bob

Every year we'll have a lot of surprises in Sport....
Some days it just does not work out, makes no difference who you are or how good you are. Any day somebody else can and will win...
And that is good so...
I feel good for any winner and if a Homeboy or Homegirl wins....
great. Makes me feel real proud!!!

I think it was great that Alex Bilodeau won. He has his heart in the right place and his motivation is for the right reasons. Also I am happy for Canada to finally have gold metal winner who won on home turf. The medal ceremony was very moving.

Congrats, Canada.

(I had more tears in my eyes than he did during the anthem.)

What a great story.

Congratulations to Alex, and congratulations to all the athletes that have reached that level and are in the Olympics. It has been up to four years of preparation for this event and they have all earned their position.

Congratulations.

I see that the media and some folks are ragging on the mayor of Vancouver for some things that inconvenience them, or things that did not go as planned. Wonder where these criticizers were when help was needed or requested? I have found that being an armchair quarterback is actually very easy_ takes little/no brain-power or effort.
Mayor, I salute you, and the Canadian Olympic committee!
