Oh Yuck, it's snowing......supposed to get 2"-4" before tomorrow morning.

I always hate to see that first snow of the season, it clearly indicates camping time will be at a premium between now and Spring.

Richard

Snow (when its called snow) is always nice to visit for 2 weeks every year.
Cold is relative. Growing up in Miami in the 40's/50's and some 60's, 45 degrees was always considered freezing. Enjoy it and think how close spring is. s/Toby

Earl,

Yep, getting the rig down my driveway can be a challenge in the snow, have not ever tried it and not planning to either. On ice would be totally out of the question.

I have a steep 20% graveled grade in one spot and several other places a few feet from a creek.

Richard, We are hoping that there is no or not much snow in NH for the weekend as we are going there Friday till Monday, The big problem I have is the driveway for the MH is on a narrow street so if they don't plow right I have a hard time getting out and in, But we still love to go even if we have to use the snow blower to make a path.

Richards truck IS four wheel drive......

But ya still gotta stop the rig and make it turn....

But I rarely seem to have any problem with snow or ice myself. On of the benifits of living "Down South" eh??

I am jealous! We are to far south for this one (I think). We had some flurries a few days ago.
Glad it is happening today, we are going to Gatlinburg on Wednesday for the holiday.
Hope you don't get snowed in Richard. Enjoy

We won't get snowed in with this one, ground is still too warm for much of it to stick. Been snowing since I started this thread yesterday, still coming down when I got up this morning.

It's just a yucky mess.

Well north or south sometimes doesn't matter. Here in VT we have had only a dusting a few weeks ago. Last week it hit 70 twice. The ski areas here are praying for snow or at least some cold weather so they can make snow.
