This morning the Paramedics took the guy in the spot next to us to the hospital. He is in his 70s and dieing of cancer. Lives alone in his fifth wheel. Sad to see him all alone and in the hospital at Christmas time. He is a retired Marine and as far as anyone here in the park knows doesn't have any family.

Maybe you could get in touch with the local VA or American legion and they could do something. I have a friend who has been in the hosp. two years in a row over Christmas. I go out in the woods and cut a 6 inch pine branch stick it in some foam and bring him a couple of scratch tickets. seems to help and sure makes me feel good! Scotty.

A lot of lonely old veterans out there. Let's try to remember them over Christmas. Without them we would not be able to play in our RV's. Jim

The guy died last night but not before his Son was located and by his side when he passed away.

His fifth wheel is still sitting here, Son is going to let it get reposessed as the guy owed 11 years of payments on it, it is a 2001 Jayco Designer 32 foot with 3 slides so someone will get a nice trailer at a good price.
