Old vs New

On a recent trip to Mexico I these 2 rigs parked next to each other. The first one I googled and it retails for over $700,000. We met the nice couple and their dog that owned it, it is a spectacular coach. The second picture is a rig that had 3 adults, 2 young kids and 2 dogs, they were also nice and had a great time. Priceless.

It's not the cost of any RV that matters, It's the it's the enjoyment of the lifestyle and the memories you make. Although.

I have always enjoyed the outdoors, I love camping regardless of how. We were camped up in the VA mountains for a couple of weeks and there was a beat up old travel trailer a couple of spaces up from us that was full of kids and adults, but they were having the time of their lives, outside all day every day, big family meals, playing ball, splashing in the creek, etc. There were a couple of higher end toyhaulers where the people would come in on the weekend, open up then sit in front of the televisions all weekend, I guess television is better away from home? To each their own, but I think the ones with the old TT were getting a whole lot more out of it.

Just goes to show that income inequality is always trumped by nice people.

I calculated that for $700k I could buy about 90 bounders in my price range. I am too old to maintain that many vehicles.

RVing is one place where size does not matter.

Unless you are a 46 footer trying to squeeze into a 36 foot camping spot!

I wish more people thought that way... As the OP said.. both were nice people..

In the end... doesn't matter the size of your wallet.. only the size of your heart
