On Line Sales and Sales Tax

I can foresee the states requiring the businesses being required to report all sales to the states involved, even if they do not meet the threshold for collecting tax. The the sates will start to go after those individuals, likely by withholding any tax refund due.


Income tax is an interesting issue. I know that big earners like professional sports players have to pay taxes in the states they play in, but lower level ones like truck drivers do not. I can't foresee states being able to force income taxes for on ;line sellers that do not physically travel to other states.
