One wheel trailer

I wonder if anyone remembers the one wheel trailers made by Allstate (sears). They were sold in the 1960s and maybe the 1950s.
I think I might like to have one to tow with my Jeep Wrangler.

There was an elderly couple around here had one mounted on their Cadillac. Big box on it. Used for tailgating at football games. Probably work just fine. I would not have one. I would tear it off.

I have a single-wheel trailer called a "Uni-go" that we haul behind our motorcycle.

It works great and does not affect handling at virtually any speed or in the tightest twisties. The hitch allows for side-to-side and up-down movement and the trailer leans in unison with the bike. At night, I can unhitch and bring it into the motel room with me.

My father-in-law had one and would make the round trip run to the cottage 5 to 8 times a summer. 560 miles round. Used it many years with no trouble. Oh, and he drove FAST.

Thanks for all the replies. I didn't realize there were so many "one wheel" and "swivel wheel" trailers. I know now that trailers with two swivel wheels are available. I assume the rear bumper on the Jeep would be strong enough to pull one.
I would be really lucky to find a good old used cheap trailer.

I pulled this little s-10 pickup box trailer from Nebraska to Kentucky and up through Ohio 3 times. Just over 3,000 miles each trip. I built it myself. Cost to build including the purchase price of the junk pickup and buying 2 brand new tires was about $400. I only pulled it with the RV on local trips. Longer trips were taken with our SUV.
