Orphan RVers - in between ages: not old, not young

Where are the RVers who are between 40-60ish & not traveling with families? I see Xscapers but they seem focused on working folks and people with families. SKP Boomers seem to focus a bit more in the older side also? FMCA is for families, right?

I feel like we need a group or organization for that middle generation. Is there something out there already?

We also fall into that age range and haven't found anything, but we haven't looked real hard. We've heard that the site-RVillage has some of the features you may be looking for.

We are both just barely 40, we do not belong to any groups.

Same here, we are both 48 and have been rving four years. I have been looking at building a website for the younger and active sect to find camping destinations with activities such as biking, hiking etc.

My tribe!!! LOL thx for the replies. :-)

I belong to Rvillage - I’ll check what I can find over there - I think they’re owned by Escapees.

I'm 47 and my husband is 50 so we fall in this age range also.
Is there a "Our kids are grown, we're kind of lazy, don't want to be bothered, leave us alone, get off our lawn" group? LOL

What would you all call us? Middle aged? Empty Nesters? LATE late boomers? Last of the Boomers?

Brainstorm!

My wife and I are in that age range, been full time RVing for a year now. Just wish I could travel more, we both are tied to brick/mortar jobs.

I'm 59, Wife has already hit six-oh! We have never fit in with the FMCA, GoodSams or any other rv clans. Nothing wrong with them just a bit conservative for our style of partying.
The younger RVers I mostly see at music and art festivals. Also around adventure sports such as kayaking, rock climbing and mountain bike racing.

More bigger better tribe!!!

I’m a googler - started looking for more info on our age group. Found one article (so far) that made some points that resonated with me regarding differences between us and the early & mid baby boomers:
Baby boomers not all alike

Anyway, more soon I hope!
