Go Navy! Also, anyone who quotes "An eye for an eye" needs to look up St. Matthew 5 starting at 38 ( in the King James version of the Bible). I still carry a weapon even after reading this.

I'm glad this site is worldwide. Remember the people killed in the "World" Trade Center on 9-11 were not only Americans, but ordinary people from all over the world. They were also not of one religion. I don't think being thankful that there is one less TERRORIST is being insensitive.

In no particular order, I am proud to be a Navy veteran, an American, and a member of the human race.

Just a little reminder, although we are pleased the person responsible for the tragic events of 9/11 & other terrorist activities has been dealt with, we want this thread to be about showing our pride for those who put their lives on the line to bring this about. We do not want religious or political posts, which are divisive at best, to take away from what our troops accomplished.

We are most eternally grateful to them & to all our military & their families for the sacrifices they make to insure our freedom & peace. Thank you!

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
