Our weekend surprise

Hope everyone had a great weekend. We were at my mom's for a wedding (it was a really nice country affair) but the surprise we got was was my great nephew was born. We went down b/c my niece was due Friday 7-13 and I offered to help out and take mother to this wedding knowing that the baby (whom was "suppose" to be a girl) would probably be late, most first babies are late. Well we went down earlier than planned So I could get something done my sister was planning to do, So Thursday while I'm out getting this done for MOM we sit down to lunch halfway through they call and say we're taking her to the hospital her pains are 4 minutes apart so we finish lunch in a hurry and get to the hospital were they say it'll be a while. Now back in April at the baby shower they told everyone to get pick it was a girl the doctor told them..So every thing they had was for a girl ----She had a BOY after 12 hours of labor at the hospital... My niece and her baby are doing great the baby was 8lbs 8oz and 21inches long.

Some Dr's have been known to tell the prospective parents is was going to be one sex and write in their notes it is the opposite. That way, if they're right no one is the wiser. If they're wrong they can point to the records and show it in writing.

But in this day of ultrasound there should be no question!!
