Out of state dealer

Ok our nearest similar large dealer is 60 miles, 110 miles, 150 miles

Have some great repair shops for all issues of motor home ....so is it a bad idea to get new or used mh out of state .... My wife also wants to know about http://www.mhsrv.com

We have 1997 bounder so dealer service is not needed but our shops in area are great to us when work was needed

We have bought two motor homes from MHSRV and have been very pleased both times. They are straight, honest people to deal with. They have some of the lowest prices around on new rigs. Don't believe the price on their website, call and ask for the "real" price since it is almost always lower. Our salesman (Rodney Melton) told us this is because they are often below the minimum price a manufacturer will allow them to advertise. For example, our 2013 Thor Challenger had an MSRP of $165,000, MHSRV advertised price of $117,500 but when I called the actual price was $105,911. The only downside I see is that their trade in prices are low compared to other dealers, but in our case this was more than offset by the bottom line on the new coach. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Oh, if you fly in to Dallas they meet you at the airport in a Cadillac Escalade. If you are coming in to buy a Newell or a Prevost its a Roll Royce. Yes, really!

Thanks...that is helpful for me too! Your 35% discount from MSRP is a LOT more than the 25% or so generally given as guidance to newbies. My question is...IN YOUR OPINION...do the PERCENTAGE discounts available vary by manufacturer...or by model/type R/V... or is the "real price" ALWAYS in the 30-35% area off MSRP if you ask for it?

Anyone else...pls. feel free to weigh in on this too!
