Pahrump

Off to Pahrump in a.m. Looks like weather is great and I know there is a penny machine with my name on it. Looking forward to some real down time, retirement is HARD work Corn Beef and cabbage on Sunday, happy St. Patty's day!!

Jackpot, Vegas, Laughlin, Yuma and a host of other city Casinos, the slots have been tight this year.

Guinness all the way around. When did Yuma get a Casino? I was stationed there in the 80's and all we had was the Dog Track to go to. It was definitely cheap entertainment and fun.

I think the Yuma Casino, name escapes me at the moment , was brand new 3 years ago , there my even be 2 now . The one I've been to was about 1/2 mile north of the border crossing at los Algodones.

The old one near territorial prison is Paradise and newer one across border in Winterhaven is Quechan.

Preferred RV across from Nugget, our first time here since Charleston Peak (which I loved) is no longer ROD.

I'll have to make a trip out there just to see the city again. I liked it there even though some of my cohorts did not.
