Please use informative titles when posting

I would like to suggest that people refrain from using titles which do not contain any helpful information on what the topic of the thread is.
It will help you get an answer faster, and it will help the rest of us to skip a topic that we are not interested in if the title contains meaningful info on what the real topic is.

Please stay away from "Need help", or "Another Question". Practically every thread on t his forum "is" a question, and is likely asking for help.

I hope no one is offended by this post, I just think this practice would be a benefit for all of us.
This is a great forum, made up of many people who go out of their way to provide very helpful and detailed answers.

I also hate titles that read like a tabloid but don't relate to the subject.

Shut your caps lock off also.

All caps does not always get your post noticed.

Lots of time it gets the post ignored.

I do not read, and therefore will cannot help, when people are yelling at me.

Aww.....I admit I do look at those briefly titled, generic posts.

Usually they are the folks that need the most help from the forum.

My time has very limited value...

My pet peeve is the "ford vs chevy" discussions on tires, dp vs gas, best motorhome, etc.

Simple solution is provided by irv2.com Hold your cursor on the title until until displays the first few lines of the post, which usually state the purpose of the post.

Although I'm more likely to open a thread titled "In A Quandary" than "Gas vs. Diesel"...
