Well, I am at a loss for words, and anyone that has been following this should find that hard to believe. Not even sure I am on the right thread.

Anyway, we were asked to go over to ShannOn's place this afternoon. Supposedly to help with introducing Dani's dog to ShannOn's dog when Jeff (Dani's husband) arrives.

So, we did, and all went well until dinner time. Somehow, it was decided that we would all share a few pizzas, with Dani going to pick them up.............but, Dani doesn't know where the pizza place is. Everyone, including myself offered to go along and show her how to get there, but no, she doesn't want any help, and leaves alone.

Not two minutes later there is a knock on the door and a faint voice claiming "specially deliverly". We open the door, and THE WHOLE DAMN FAMILY is standing there.

Wow, could it get any better. I was over joyed that Dani and family could find time to come down and spend Thanksgiving with us, but now, I really am at a loss for words.

Way too many people in a way too small kitchen, almost no living area, and none what so ever dining area. We are going to have days of little girls giggling, dogs barking, ladies getting in each other's way in te kitchen, and the guys out in the garage with the old couches, older tv, and pre-historic frig full of beer.

I am so overwhelmed I can't express myself, but I am going to enjoy every single moment they are here. Now, we do have one Son and family in Hawaii that just couldn't get it done, but they will be there in spirit.

I am so blessed and so happy. I am sure I don't deserve all this, but I damn sure will take it and enjoy it as much as I can.

Got a handle on the meds, and have the hernia truss adjusted just right, so I am feeling great.

It's raining out right now. Do you think the neighbors would mind if I ran up and down the streets singing "singing in the rain"???? Well, with my talent, maybe that is not such a good idea after all.

OK, gotta go. We have a long day planned for tomorrow, and I need to rest up for all the fun.

Later

Ken Gasbarri
