LIARS CLUB.
Ok people, here is your chance to post the biggest lie you have ever heard or seen anywhere. There have been a few sprinkled through out the forum but here is your chance to get them all in one place. As I remember there is one about a snake with a frog in its mouth and another one about a Colman lantern in one of the posts on here.
The grand prize for the biggest lie will be all the sour pickles you can eat without going into a perminant ''PUCKER'', and a stack of old Better Homes and Gardens Magazines.
Here is my entry......
My grandfather lived in an little log cabin that had been passed down for many generations in our family. It was a log cabin built out in the woods and it faced the east so that the sun shined thru the window and on to a very old grandfather clock sitting against the back wall. One day when we went up to visit I asked Grandpa how old the clock was and how long it had been sitting against the back wall. He informed me that the clock was as old as the cabin and it had been sitting against that wall since the cabin was built and he didnt know exactly how old it was but you could take a ''clue'' from the clock.
The clock was so old that the SHADOW of the swinging pendulum had worn a hole thru the back of the clock, thru the back wall of the cabin and about three inches deep into a big white oak tree out in the back yard.
(cough cough) Your turn.........
Some of our troops are coming home …......JOB WELL DONE TROOPS ...

As a car guy/ hot rodder/ drag racer, you hear alot if tall tails . I like to sit around & b.s. But I don't like to just make stuff up, alot of guys do. So I've heard crazy storeys about horse power numbers. How fast there cars are , or one they use to have, or one there dad use to have. It's fun to call em on it.

The Doctor that told me I'd be in the Hospital 4days max, as I was laying on the table waiting to go under. He screwed up my operation which led to other complications Three and a half months later I was released wearing a colostomy bag. Four months and three surgeries later I was all back together. The only problem this really happened.

My friend was out fishing one day, hooked onto a big fish. He fought this fish for 5 hours, using the heavest line and equipment money could buy, but he could not land that fish.
Finally a skin diver came by and he asked him to go down and see what he had on his line. The diver dives deep and is gone for about 20 minutes.
Finally the diver surfaces and my friend says "what do I have" on my line. the diver replies, "the worlds largest catfish and he lives ina sunken four door sedan". My friend ask why he cant get him in, and the diver replies.........

Everytime you pull on the line, the catfish raises the windows up on the car.

I have a portable sawmill and one day I was cutting boards from an old Oak Tree and you'd not believe the weird shaped hole there was worn in it. Kinda looked like a pendulum swing motion.

Well I was in high-tech sales for many years and it's a pretty cut throat industry, especially in Asia where I did most of my business. I admit that (more than once) I've used the line "absolutely you have our best price"....
