The boy,now man who coached my youngest son in soccer has suffered a brain aneurism. He is in the UofP head trauma center where he worked as a xray tech for many years with the same surgeons now tasked with saving his life. He had the aneurism while working and was immediately tended too by some of the best brain trauma surgeons in the world, had it not been for that I would be preparing to attend his funeral. But He's not out of the woods, they had to take him in and tidy up some bleeds. They have him sedated so we don't no what to expect. He has 4 beautiful children and a wife that cherishes him. He has coached youth soccer since he was 19. Not his kids, just kids that needed his guidance. I would ask a special favor of all to mention this wonderful young father in your prayers. His name is Mike Colfer. I've called every priest I know to ask for special mention of this very special man. Thank you. I am living proof of the power of prayer and know that it can help.

I'm bumping this up, he could really use the prayers folks, he's way to young to have this tragedy befall him and his family.

Today I went to see Mike to my astonishment he was sitting up in his bed talking to Sandy his wife, she said he awoke about noon and has started to remember things. When I walked in he called me by name and was curious why I was there LOL . Life is Good!
