probably just sitting in front of the computer weeping as he is unable to type the numbers from pure shock.

up here, diesel is 1.55 a litre, which equals $5.97 per US gallon. with the dollars being about even, all I can say is ......OUCH....

I hope he is not talking about the two people in the picture but rather that diesel prices are still making news.

We just passed through Death Valley, and now I know why they call it that name. With diesel prices at $5.75 I would rather die than try to fill up the tank!

And I thought $4.99 in the Florida Keys was a killer.

Closer to home it is $4.75 and that is just
causing me to have a little twitch..........

oy..........

It was in Fox News today that some truckers were going bankrupt in the middle of a run. I did notice on my last trip from Winchester to New Bern on I95 the trucks were going slower. They down from around 80 mph to 70 mph, but still passing me.

I got some for $4.359 but saw other stations priced at $4.609 around here. Liquid gold.

I pulled into the truck islands at Flying J in Frazier Park CA., and they were quiet. Not one truck idling while getting fuel.

I hate to say this but...with the cost of diesel, traffic was uncommonly light this past weekend. It seemed as if there were as many troopers as civilians on the roads...I guess there is always a silver lining if you know what to look for.
