Can I assume if I see a guy in Best Buy with a fold out chair and a cooler staring at all the TV's it's you?

Oh yes! The worst is a car that is supposedly driving on a record album on a turntable. And below is the disclaimer, "Fantasy, Do not try this at home".

How the hell are you supposed to do that???

I'm a full timer on a budget and with limited internet data so streaming TV and all those nice commercial avoiding systems are unavailable to me. I find it so frustrating that because there are too many lawyers in this world, we have to be treated like idiots with stupid disclaimers on everything. My apologies to any attorneys that are reading this. Oops, was that a disclaimer?

And then there are all those ambulance chasers whose ads state, "Have you or a loved one been harmed by _____?" There's a blood thinning drug being advertised by 3 celebrities that is also being targeted by the personal injury attorneys.

Products I won't buy because of their ads

"...and if you call RIGHT NOW we'll double your order...."
2X something stupid or worthless simply MUST be good!
"...just pay shipping and handling..."
They are on a shelf and they pack 2 v 1...about 25 bucks for dat?

The cure usually sounds worse than the disease.

I have to agree with Lisa (and dat ain't no bad thang ) but the feminine product commercials. OMG and they are ALWAYS aired just about dinner time. REALLY? "Honey...I think I'll wait on dinner!! "

and BTW, those medicine commercials (those too Lisa) where 98% of the commercial is the listing of the side affects. Thank you, no. I'll suffer thru the aliment. Geez.....

LOL, I'm particularly fond of, "Don't take ____ if you are allergic to it or any of it's ingredients "

The Flonase commercial also fails to mention that use of the drug is associated with an increase in cataracts. They refer to it as "changes in vision."

Years ago I saw a huge billboard in Florida:

Call 555........"

And I'm taking it!!

As usual, both the pharma and the lawyer ads overblow everything.
