There's a commercial for a product for clearer skin, re: acne or psoriasis that one of the side effects is DEATH. Really, for clearer skin? And there are a lot of those too. DEATH? Yes, I want clearer skin no matter what.

Many do not like the carls jr adds due to the females.

Last one just tossed from the dance show...

On the other hand the jack in the nox ones are the best ads for burger places.

Carls did have good food at one time but they just do not cut it any more.

Many far better fare from lots of places.

I love the commercials that are hawking 2 for 1 products......They all use the same template "But wait, theres more" "phone now and receive a second widget Free, just pay separate handling and shipping" Which is probably the price of the widget.

I have emailed suppliers that have ads with idiots speaking with their mouths full. I asked them how are we to teach the next generation simple manners. The products were Activia and a Phillips product.
Just today, a fast food company has a new ad with an idiot that has no manners.

Or the ones that want you to "call in the next 10 minutes" for a special offer then go so far as to show a countdown timer. Yeah, because if I called in 11 minutes the call center would be closed, right?

I found both of them on Netflix and a whole lot more. I can't stand commercials either. I may just have to kick the satellite to the curb as well.

Well, I thought I was the only curmudgeon that is offended by some ads and thus will not buy their product. Guess not.

Some products I love, but will not buy because their ads are soooooo stupid.

They don't miss my dollars but it is the principle of the thing.

The most used button on my TV controler is the mute. I've gotten very good at anticipating commercials and mute them fast.

One of my biggest pet peeves are car commercials. Especially the ones where a car is racing, doing donuts, tires smoking etc. Then the disclaimer, professional driver on a closed course. Aren't they just urging everyone to drive the cars that way? I'm sorry but there are enough irresponsible drivers out there.

How about the drug companies that are always telling you to "ask your doctor is it what you need."

The list goes on but my fingers are tired of typing.

All the commercials for prescription meds drive me nuts.

But the ones that annoy me most are the ones for the stroke medication where the actors talk in such a weird and stunted way.

My doctor.....told me about......

Then he shoots a basket and his wife signals a field goal.....

Ambulance chasers in general offend. They make it sound like it's all about you. "You pay nothing unless we win". The part they leave out - "...then we will take one third of what we recover plus any expenses we've incurred, leaving you with pennies on the dollar." Sometimes they're a necessary evil, but...

And along those same lines, there's a certain auto insurance company that seems to run about every 3 minutes, on every channel, that makes me want to kick in the TV. They're telling you they're all about common sense claim handling, standing their actors in front of the statue of liberty. They are making my life miserable trying to settle a claim with them. I've just contacted my attorney.

You people crack me up. It must be a generational thing because the young people don't seem to be bothered by it. The adds on tv drive me nuts. We cut the cable cord two years ago but do have an antenna for local stations. What gets me is the adds for Viagra for a man in his 40s with a beautiful woman next to him,DUH. What the heck does he need Viagra for? Progressive adds, I'm sick of looking at that goofy woman. One of the best inventions ever was the mute button. Drug adds,OMG.

Surprised no one mentioned the Samuel Adams beer commercial; you know, the one where the woman narrator severely croaks the last word of every sentence!? That's a fad that seemed to crap up about 10 or so years ago and keeps getting worse. It sounds as bad as someone scraping their fingernails across a blackboard.

I have cut out the news, both papers and TV. I am much happier and less stressed. I'm sure that if the world ended my neighbor would tell me !!!
