Progressive Industries -- thumbs up

At a recent outing our electricity went out, and I found a breaker tripped on the post. I switched it back on, the Progressive Industries SSP-30X we were using reported a reverse polarity. I took it to another post -- same thing. A neighbor plugged it into his post -- same thing. We had the post checked, and it was fine. So we completed our two-week stay without the surge protector.

I submitted a warranty claim on Progressive Industries site including the requested photos of the male and female ends of the surge protector, but I told my wife that the list of exclusions was so long I'd be surprised if they honored it.

Then about 2 hours later I got an email that the new unit was on the way and to allow ten days. Sure enough, ten days later, we got a new unit.

Nice

Exactly! Even the very best companies making the very best products sometimes have problems. How they handle those problems is key.

Great company for sure. Bought a used camper and they replace the one that came with my used camper. Can't beat that for customer service.

I just purchased a 50 amp surge protector from Progressive primarily based on all the positive feedback, everywhere.

Word of mouth is the best advertisement!!

Yep! We bought a competitor's product first. It had a 12-month warranty and made it 13. I saw the lifetime warranty on the Progressive, and thought it was more, it turned out to be less

They asked for no proof of purchase and didn't ask for the defective product to be returned. Couldn't ask for better.

I purchased the 50 amp ems and first time plugging it in the numbers in the display are red. I emailed them because on the website the numbers are green. They said their supposed to be red.....huh thought green made sense.
