I see something where you indicated, but it would be a stretch to say it is a Prairie dog  . I still think the Prairie dog is right between the black and white rock located top/left in the picture. In fact, it is so clear I can tell it is a female Prairie dog  .

Why do people have to walk out to the very edge and look over? Seriously? Is it Mother Nature's way of thinning the gene pool??
I saw people climb under a railing just to go to the edge to look over at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. There were signs at the visitor's center that said "If you fall, we may not be able to rescue you".

If you look to the right of the rock up the trail you can see what looks like one just before the green bushes
