PVC flag pole

Hola!

I'm not sure this is the correct place to post this, but here goes. I want to make (or more rightly stated - have my DH make) one of the PVC flagpoles that I see at many camper's sites. The ones where the flag hangs at an angle and it swivels when the wind blows. Does anyone have a link to a website or to a different post where I can find directions to construct one?

Thanks!

In case anyone uses this post as a guide I have one suggestion. Use 1 inch PVC. We used 3/4 and it's not quite as sturdy as we would like. It still works and we will use it, but if we make another one we will go with the 1 inch.

That is all. :sly::thumbup:

I pointed one end of 3/8 rebar for stake and added emt conduit over rebar for smoother rotation. Drill hole in bottom of 4' vertical piece and store emt and rebar inside post - securing with same bolt and nut used for upper section thru hole in bottom. Made 3/4 and 1. inch poles about three years ago as a test. After three years I can't say there is enough difference to waste time thinking about it other than the cost of material. Only problem we have ever had is very light weight flags tend to wrap around upper pole in light and variable winds.
