Tina - I was looking through my notes and ponders and came across this -

“To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted.” – Bill Bryson

It reminded me of your post - yes it's all the same and yet it is different and new. There is a magic about it. More than a change of place - because you're at home and somewhere else at once. Transformed in space and time - the RV Mutant - the Dr. Who of the here and now you see us, now you don't.

Just a tiny update on Martin's state of mind: we've been able to scratch the itch he had to get the Wrangler's headlamp changed. It took two of us, but we did the job together.

He claims he'll make a mechanic of me yet. I can find my way around a screwdriver, hammer and saw...but what is it they say about a snowball's chance? Yup, thassit!

Cheers!
Sue

That's great news Sue. Keep him moving around! Don't let him get restless. LOL.

So comes a ponder.

Is it tougher to Mutate if you have a busted wing?
Most would say "I dont know" (third base!).
Which makes me ask, is it better to be restless or restfull?
But I digress. Or is it regress?

So a guy named Hermann Pondered - how did a guy name Sid find enlightenment and how do you play this glass bead game.

"Dreams and restless thoughts came flowing to him from the river, from the twinkling stars at night, from the sun's melting rays. Dreams and a restlessness of the soul came to him."
Hermann Hesse

High school English - now there's a long strange trip for ya.
