This...

Quoted off an update....
"Our largest perk for this Indiegogo campaign is "Hit the Road!" and we do mean it. For a $6,600 contribution, you get two weeks on the road with Jim and I, and the film crew for The Real Route 66. This is a discounted rate, that includes 14 nights lodging, guides, transportation, most admissions, orientation, the Hit the Road Party in Chicago, the Middle of the Road Party in Amarillo, and the End of the Road Party in Santa Monica, as well as lots of extras.
We're offering a limited number of these as we are negotiating with tour companies to turn over sales to them, and when that happens, rates will go up. You get a discount for your early commitment, and we'll make sure you get some bonuses while we're on the road to thank you for your support.
If you have questions, feel free to zap me a note at publisher@thesunrunner.com.
Thanks,
Steve Brown"

'Morning, Muteys! It's a lovely day on the driveway today (putting on tennies and cardi while singing.)

We have yet another itch to scratch now. Somehow the gizmo that holds the long awning in its furled position has lost a screw/bolt/whatever and allows the awning to thump and bang when there's a stiff breeze. Not good for the awning or our nerves. Not good on the road either!

I may yet have to play mechanic again, because I really don't want Martin up on a ladder or even on the portable scaffolding. No, no, no! My wing is better than his wing!

Safe travels to all y'all who are on the road and on the rainbow. Can't wait to see the Texas contingent rolling in to CL! Chuck wagons roll!

Cheers
Sue

Well the first cup o'coffee has been sipped. We're packed and about ready to run up to storage and fire Bonita up. It's a little over an hour up to the casino in Ok. Hopefully there are no bugs or gremlins in the systems and such. Will be the first time to put highway speed on the new sneakers Bonita's wearing.

We picked up a new water filer and need to flush it out and give it a test drive. It's a Metaltrap Ultra Dual 14k gallon model. The canisters are 41/2" x 10" as I recall. Pretty hefty. The kit came with brackets but the water bay will have to be completely reworked. No time for such things before the GC.

Fingers crossed for a smooth departure and arrival in Ok.

Time to get moving.

Dave - just shoot me an email. www.rvmutants.com - it's under the events tab. My iPhone isn't cooperating with the drop down. When I get some time I gotta build a mobile site.
Geesh.

Wow...went for a wildflower walk at Hillsdale lake.. about done me in...but we saw some cool stuff just starting into it's blooming period. Pretty little yellow branched violets, and of course the light purple and dark purple ones too. Saw some sort of leaf from a wild orchid that grows around here... the leaf will disappear in a couple days and the flower stalks will emerge and bloom... and we saw some little tiny lilies blooming... well, I'm hoping to remember some of the names when I upload my photos into my photobucket.... off for a nap now.... yeah, I know... there's a million other things I ought to be doing, but I'm tuckered and they can wait an hour or so....
