By mid May, there will be a GREEN patina over all of Lancaster County. Much of it will be in my eyes and up my nose, the remainder a gentle, sticky patina on my coach.

Which begs a question.
Is it pronounced Lan-cast-er or Lank-uh-ster?

I have always found it interesting that Burt Lancaster pronounced his last name as "Lank-uh-ster", while all else said "Lan-cast-er".

We are delaying our return to ohio until just before Memorial Day. The tree pollen is horrible. After the GC we are meandering to Florida hopefully to visit friends and family.....Framily??

I used to have horrible pollen allergies that caused hives. Two years of allergy shots cured the hives and the nasal allergies. I HIGHLY recommend them. And they don't hurt. The needles nowadays are so tiny.

From padutchcountry.com:

How do you pronounce Lancaster?

Lancaster is pronounced LANK-ih-stir, instead of the more common pronunciation of LAN-cast-ter.

- See more at: http://www.padutchcountry.com/travel....Juh028oz.dpuh

Seems Burt knew...

I always thought the proper vernacular was Fambly.

Well, hubby was messing in the front of Honey, getting her ready to go, says there is an oil leak... so... he will have DS #4 see if he can help locate that ... if not, off she goes to the nearest vehicle fixit fellas... (since she'd be leaking her oils all the way... )

Been trekking between two different ball tourneys tryin to support grands and make yet another ones birthday party to boot. Whew! We are falling into bed exhausted. Can't wait for week after next to leave for GC and a week of R&R. All you traveling mutes be safe out there. North Texan Muteys batten down the hatches cause looks like another bumpy ride tomorrow afternoon and evening.

It's going to take a few more to get us onto the second rainbow. Jumping the Rainbow is the next level of mutation on our list. I have read in the ancient RVMdom scrolls that a third and fourth rainbow exist. The mind boggles.

You do know that on the second rainbow, the colors are inverted from the first... so the jump really isn't as difficult as we imagine it to be... just slip on over from same color to same color...bet you won't even notice you made the switch it'll go so smoothly!
So now I am wondering what order the colors go on the 3rd and 4th rainbows!

The scrolls tell of making the jump and the further - or other realms of mutation. The web has some pictures but none match the beauty and majesty described in the ancient writings.

Are we sure that they are even colors we puny humans can see? Perhaps they aren't in the spectrum that we can see without special equipment.

Hmm, I wonder where I put my X-ray glasses?

When we jump, I understand our eyes will automatically become attuned to the colors ... ones we can't even imagine now. Not till the 4th rainbow, though.
