The laughing and keeping us in line is no small task. We mutants can be a handful sometimes.

Again - 45 years and counting - that's the Sapphire Anniversary. Just sayin.

Thanks one and all.

Hey, I married a Princess! She gives me a darn good slappin every morning and I'm a good boy all day.

Had a fine visit with a long-time friend.

While Carter was President, I bought 40 acres of woods in Wisconsin.
My very young nephew called me Uncle Daven.
Carter held weekend summit conferences at Camp David.
We held weekend somewhat conferences at Camp Daven.
We solved more world problems at Camp Daven.

This is the Readers Digest version. I used to provide an extended expoundation of this story, back when. Was over 1/2 hour in the telling.

When we have a Curiosity of Mutants in one place one day, I will tell it in full, unabridged, complete with gestures, to paint a mental picture you may find interesting, far-fetched, and bombastic. But it will be true. Unmutated.

One fine day, Mutants!

Dave

That's a real upscale looking "quick" project !! Nice job.

If this is correct and there is a prize, do you need to have my mailing address?
Here is what I could see -

Looks like the hose is connected between the two ends of the freshwater tank. Maybe to allow a pressure flow - but beats me. The blue handle is turned to drain the tank. The water exits under the coach - not a drop in the bay. I do have a little rust in there. But no leaks. Hmmm. Old age in an '08.

Any thoughts?

I'm gonna have to go with Moonrover on this one. That was some pretty fast work, even for a mutant!

Hmmm ... so pic #1 and #2 relate to fresh water tank? Somehow it looks like there is a large black PVC pipe on the top of that tank. Now if this is a waste tank, I'd say the elbow fitting and 1/2" line are the waste tank flushing system. But you mentioned the pipe connects to a sister tank which is more typical of fresh water tanks stuffed in odd locations to get more total volume. Still ... a cross feed tube in such tanks is normally close to the bottom edge and not up off the bottom.

I'm no help here. Still don't know what the system design is.

Rust proofing paint:

Called POR-15. Never worry about rust again. I sandblasted and painted my hitch cradle with this stuff.

Thanks Moonrover - I will have to pull up my plumbing schematics and see what's up. It was an assumption that since that blue lever definitely dumps the freshwater that by proximity it may have been the freshwater water tank. But like you, I'm confused by what looks to be vent pipes for gray / black tanks.

Still makes me wonder about that hose running from what appears to be two ends of the same tank and why the cutout / foam is in that bay. Its not like I would be setting up camp with a hose hooked up to flush the tanks. My water bay, tank fill, black flush etc are all on the other side of the coach and forward of this bay.

The schematics may tell the story. That's one thing Fleetwood was great about. They emailed me all the wiring, plumbing, etc sheets. Just haven't dug in deep enough yet.

Thanks again - and I'll check out the rust cure! I little bits here and there.

Annie isn't big on sushi - a few rolls now again.
Sweet Shrimp - Cold Saki - Tiger Roll. A few other morsels didn't hang around long enough to pose for the camera.
