I'm sitting here thinking about what you said about letting people know where you are in case they have to come looking for you. Leave your cell phone on all the time because it'll track you no matter where you are.

Happy Birthday to us!

Waiting on the RV Repairman to arrive. Hopefully he will have us grey water tight in no time.

We were able to test another system this morning - our heat pumps. Would not get up to check temp and turn on in middle if the night. Just pulled the covers up. Got up and checked and it was 44. Eek. Let's see if we can warm er up. Yep. Both running and a toasty 72 at the moment.

Well - we shall see what we shall see with the plumbing. Back later with update. Safe travels to those on the road - and again - Happy Birthday to Mutants wherever you roam.

Thanks to all for making this a great thread and the RVMdom a great place. Can't wait to meet those who will make the GC later this month - and all others in due time!!

Wow! Where does all the time go? Oh! I know! Reading the iRV2 forum and especially the STM thread.

It doesn't take much to make a pet dead. Ethylene glycol is the culprit. Not only does Antifreeze contain ethylene glycol, but cosmetics, paints and those snow globes do also, to mention a few. The first few hours of a pet getting into ethylene glycol is critical and veterinary help is a must. The longer, the less chance of survival.

Bob, you're right and I never thought about that. Technology to the rescue. However, there are millions of square miles out west that have no cell reception. I try to always stop for the night where I can get service otherwise I can't see what all you STMs have been up to that day. My Internet is via a cell line also. So I actually carry 2 cell phones with me and I'd bet both are trackable.

What's really embarrassing to admit is that my daughter works for the company that developed the technology that lets 911 systems pinpoint your location.

Happy Birthday to the Beginning of RVMdom

It is a good day to commemorate indeed.

We are sitting in McKinney, TX also running our heat pumps. We are at the MCD factory planning on new shades through out the coach. We are within 30 minutes of RVM2's home and 15 minutes from where Bonita is kept. With some luck we may have our long awaited chance to meet up with Steve and Annie. This is after we had to abort the plans for our first meeting back in November when winter made its first ugly stab at the DFW area.

Folks...personally this is most exciting for Sandee and I. Steve and I have some similar backgrounds and have been virtual friends from nearly the beginning of my time on IRV2.COM. Little did I know that I had hitched my wagon to one of the future co-founders of RVMdom.

While we have been able to enjoy an earlier entrance to FT rainbow surfing than Steve and Annie, when they hit the road they will be prepared to do it with style. I'm really hoping to be there when he hands in the keys to his S&B, fires up Bonita and ride of to...well...whatever!

Thank you Steve for sharing your experience and your encouragement.

We are RVMutants too I think. We don't have a dishwasher in our RV and we actually don't miss it at all.......I think that's because we love spending time together and life is so much simpler in the RV.

Our Journey truly is our destination!

Happy Birthday RVM group! I have enjoyed reading your thread for a long time now and love that you all are so fun!
