Actually it's happening in Kansas I believe.
Don and Sandee have already headed to and should be set up at Coopers Lake. Not sure what the cell coverage is out there. May hear from em tonight - may not. As you are probably learning (as Don did) the distance between 35 and 75 on 380 is farther than it looks LOL... Too many lights and a fair amount of traffic. A nice drive otherwise.
As was noted - Bonita is parked <10 miles from MCD so meeting up with Don and Sandee was a breeze for us. Keep that in mind mutants when should ya want to have MCD install shades for you in McKinney.
Will talk with ya tomorrow for sure!

We have had a ruff couple of days around the ol' homestead. I went out to do a few things on the MH and my rear camera monitor showed no input. I switched the cables from the right camera and still nothing. Then I noticed the check engine light was on. I tracked down the camera cable to the rear and found the cable had been chewed. Seems a mouse or mice had found my wiring tasty. I then pulled the engine cover and found one (thank goodness only one) plug wire to the number seven coil had been chewed off.
Then it was off to the Ford (so called) Dealership. I knew I was in trouble when the "parts" kid looking at his computer ask me if I knew what a fuel pump looked like. I left and hope I never have to return. Next stop wrecking yard, no luck. My neighbor and I (he came over to see what I was working on) went to a repair shop where he had work done before. While the counter guy was seeing if he could get the plug, one of the techs came through and ask what we were working on. We showed him the plug and he said I can fix that. And he did, he re-pinned the plug put a new pigtail on and even used the same color code on the new wires. I think these country boys can fix anything. You just have to find the right one to ask.
Anybody got any good mouse remedies?
Tim, keep that road cleared, the Texans will soon be on the way!!!!!

CLSP - Recon Report/SITREP
Sandee and I are at the SP and life is good.
For those east bound on 380 this is my final answer...go south of Greenville on 380. See this map...
380 route to CLSP
I also opted to pass exit 122 (19) and go on to exit 127 to 301 loop. It is really a toss up but having driven both I think 301 loop is a tad nicer but not hugely so.
WATER PRESSURE WARNING! Water pressure at my site (#34) is between 100 & 120 PSI!
It is Easter weekend and there are a lot of sites in use. I would expect many departures by Sunday.
PROPS to the CLSP staff. When we were here a couple days ago we noted 4 sites with some tree overgrowth and asked them to trim them up. Our site was the worst and you could tell the did. In fact, one of the rangers followed us back to the site to make sure it was done. However, after he left and we got into our site we found we couldn't open our passenger side main slide because they didn't trim them back far enough. At 6 PM we called the office and one of the rangers came out, saw our problem and went to get tools to trim branches back some more. He got the job done and we were able to deploy slides.

Don - I'm sure since becoming a winter Texan you experienced other examples of Texas Hospitality! Most Texans are just waiting for an opportunity to lend a helping hand. See Carts post above for further evidence!
We'll be seeing ya soon!
