Hey Steve,

Perhaps it will be drinks in hand around the fire and long talks late into the night. Except for an hour on Thursday night cause Vikings will be on but other than that I'll just go with the flow ..... lol .....

Did some one say Cheers ?

Man...I forgot how deep in the basement I had buried the grill. LOL I had to unload the entire back bay just to get to it...but I did. Tossed on a 15oz ribeye, cooked up some baked beans (ya, we forget to get some baking potatoes when we stocked up), made some pumpkin muffins and dinner was served.

I almost felt like Tom Hanks in Castaway, "Look what I have created. I have made FIRE. I HAVE MADE FIRE!"

Sometimes it is the little things...
Don... You are going to really love this fire thing... And home cooking is the best!

We are in the KOA in Van Horn. Super nice.

Yeah, be safe y'all.

Steve, not going for grungiest rig at the GC? I may be disqualified by the heavy rain we had.

Something says that doesn't look like rain on the road. Is it in a solid form?

Regarding the photo of the 4 persons, I recognized the less than handsome ones, but I could not figure out who the good looking ladies were. Now I know. Thanks.

Sena is once again enjoying the freedom of leaving the rig without being leashed here at Marty's house. She thinks that Marty's dog, Bess, is an evil monster. All black big black dogs are. She even jumped off the rear bumper and pulled Bess's hair and quickly ran back to the safety of the coach roof when Bess got too close to Lily and me.

Lily wants nothing more than to chase Marty's ducks, but mean ol' me won't let her. We've had a great time here. Lots of yaking and even some dirt therapy for me. Tomorrow afternoon we head towards Arkansas. The GC@CL is almost here!
