I don't normally listen to country music but driving thru rural SE Kansas there are LOTS of country stations. One song caught my attention as I was scanning for a new station. I don't know the name of the song or artist, but the refrain goes, "God is great, beer is good, people are crazy."

I think that sorta sums up the soon to be happening GC. I had to laugh out loud over that one.

Then I had a guy towing a travel trailer headed the opposite way that caught my attention. I thought his pick-up was smoking bad. When he passed me I realized he had a trailer tire that was burning so I quit laughing and called 911. I sure hope someone stops him before he loses his RV. The cars behind him were hanging back, probably thinking it was his truck smoking as well.

Everyone, please be careful on the roads today and everyday.

Sena and my great nephew Ian right before Barb, Sena and Lily left this afternoon. Can't say the house was much quieter because I had my 4 sons, their wives, fiance's and my sister, her spouse and her 2 children and grandchild over...They all enjoyed Barb and Sena. And Barb... Becky the young mom says Sena was the nicest monkey she has ever met...apparently they didn't believe me that there would b a monkey there when I told them...LOL! Just another grand day in the mutanthood!

Hey guys #31 here and we say 10:30 or 11 works great cause I know how chatty Texans can be a and I'm betting bedtime Tues. nite might be lucky to be bout 11 or so and I definitely need my beauty sleep. Beside I will have to drag Barb out of bed at 10!

Chuck, it's always 5 o'clock somewhere, but your clock is better.

Don, it si 7:20 p.m. here in Arlington and we had some heavy rain for about 5 minutes and a couple lightening with boomers. Predicted to last off and on until around midnight, then picking up again by afternoon. Hope to be out of here by 9 or 10 a.m. and we are only 108 miles from CLSP. Got your phone # and will call about 30 minutes out if I remember to.

Jeff - it looks to me like if ya play your hand right you can dance between the raindrops and travel and arrive between thundershowers. Even on the rainbow, timing is everything!

That will teach them to doubt you! Now, what can you bring back from the GC to keep them wondering?
