The Sunday Evening Ponder
Oh so many years ago I read of Don Juan...

"Any path is only a path, and there is no affront, to oneself or to others, in dropping it if that is
what your heart tells you. . . . Look at every path closely and deliberately. Try it as many times as you think necessary. Then ask yourself, and yourself alone, one question... Does this path have a heart? If it does, the path is good; if it doesn't it is of no use."

Exemplary!

But, I have only found paths with a heart. They have all been useful. Our path has never been just a path. All of them have had adventure! And have been of good use.

On the other hand....I got it!
The swirly-twirly patterns in FBP are stealth! Like the war ships in WW2. We can hide in plain site!
Doubt me? How many drones have you seen hovering over you?

RVM1
The camouflage paint schemes on WW1 ships were called "razzel dazzel". Must have worked because I never saw one.

My oh my I feel like I'm in mutant university classroom soaking up all these brilliant philosophical quotations and ponderings. When I grow into full mutation do I get a mutant degree in mutant philosophy? I would proudly display my segment of rope light and my thingamabobs and thingamajiggys could hang on my door handle to the MH for all the CG to admire. Why I bet others would be mystically drawn to me for mutant advice whereby I could expound on the virtues of mutantdom and perhaps lead them into the light as I was lead by RVM2.

And you could hand out fart whistles to visitors. They are on sale now; drastically marked down. I'm seriously considering putting in an order for a dozen.

Hey Moonrover

That a great idea! The fart whistle could be our mutant call.

Also could serve double duty as a duck call too.

Funny how RVM4 managed to go looking for Bells and Whistles for RVM Awards and first whistle she came to was the Fart Whistle. I have not seen one of those since I was a kid. My dentist had a big treasure chest full of thingamajigs and whatchamacallits - finger locks - twisty little metal puzzles - right on up to and including the fart whistle. Although I believe it was a Raspberry back then. Some funny bearded guys have made a fortune out of their Fart Whistle Dynasty!

RVM2 going lights out. All the best to the best darn Curiosity of Mutants ever assembled.

So, I had a "curiosity", and in true RVM fashion.

How did the toidy flush pedal fall off?
Discovered at 9 PM.
Water slowly running.
Black tank nearly full, was empty that morning. Thankfully, little used!

Worked on it til midnight. No luck. Confused. Frustrated.

Drat it, I did not purchase a TSA, Toidy Side Assistance plan. But the CG toidy is only 150 feet away! Whew, not totally roughing it.

Woke up at 6 after a dream, a vision of "think simple". You know, the KISS Principle.

About 10 minutes later, all fixed.
I "simply" looked at the pedal and the 2 valves and the spring, determined what slots in the pedal they belonged in, and pushed it back on.

I did figure out that it had never been fully seated in the center spring pivot. In the RVM Lexicon, a whatchamacallit, gizmo, thingamabob, thingamajig, doohickey, that I called a framistan-gizwhah (and other things :-/ last night).

Now, to the R&R HoF

RVM1 over and out

RVM-1 ... Why not simply push the "On Throne" button for help. Voice at the other end ... "Hello, this is On Throne, how may we be of assistance?"

RVM-1 ... "My foot operated flusher handle fell off"

OT ... "Does anyone need immediate medical assistance?"

RVM-1 ... "No, but my feet are getting wet"

OT ... "Are you able to leave the throne safely?"

RVM-1 ... "Define safely"

OT ... "Without embarrassment or injury"

RVM-1 ... "Oh ... Sure, nobody is watching"

OT ... "Carefully exit the throne room, then go outside to locate the throne water shut-off valve"

RVM-1 ... "OK, now what?"

OT ... "Turn it off"

RVM-1 ... "Oh ...... "

OT ... "Thank you for calling On Throne. Remember, we are always near when you are on the throne. Have a pleasant evening."

Fart whistle!

I have one.

"Pull my finger."

(Go get a towel. You just blew coffee all over your computer screen.)

Some easy math problems to ponder!

Gone for a week to some secret faraway wilderness area( meaning full hook ups but no wifi or pool) didnt have em didn't need em! I came back to civilized world for a few hours to re connect with mutanity. Seems so much has been going on, hate I missed the blind plumbing contest but excited to think I could be in the running for a fart whistle on the next contest! So here is the math problem, if 1week = 10 pages added to this thread, how many pages will be added in 13 days when I have my next appearance to the world planned?

Only time will tell!
