Marty, great choice in a generator. We had exactly the same unit for our C Class and mounted pretty well in the same place. It powered a lot of boondocks and is still going strong. It's only problem was it was louder than the way more expensive units.

The British Way

A fleeing Taliban, desperate for water, was plodding through the Afghan Desert when he saw something far off in the distance.

Hoping to find water, he hurried toward the oasis only to find a British Soldier selling regimental ties.

The Taliban asked, "Do you have water?"

The soldier replied, "There is no water, the well is dry. Would you like to buy a tie instead? They are only 5 pounds."

The Taliban shouted, "You idiot infidel! I do not need an over-priced tie. I need water! I should kill you, but I must find water first!"

"OK," said the soldier, "It does not matter that you do not want to buy a tie and that you hate me.

I will show you that I am bigger than that, and that I am a much better human being than you.

If you continue over that hill to the east for about two miles, you will find our Sergeant's Mess.

It has all the ice cold water you need.. "
Cursing him, the Taliban staggered away over the hill.

Several hours later he staggered back, collapsed with dehydration & rasped .....

"They won't let me in without a tie!"

Lordy, lordy, we were busy with the first night's get-to-gether and mutate one another. Lasted until 10 p.m.

Lots of funnies.

To bad more could not be here.

Dang, this is one happy, but very tired mutant. Tonight was amazing! We laughed and ate and laughed and yaked and laughed and hugged and laughed. Y'all all need to plan to be a curiosity of any size ASAP. This is just too fun to miss. I just spent the evening with 40 some people who until recently were just words on a screen. Now I feel like I've known them forever. There's something really special about RVMs.

The Opening Ceremony was fun, and punctuated by an early and rugged but short storm.

Hope you are both doing well, and that your recovery is progressing well, Dave!

Nighty-night, mutants everywhere. The FEGC@CL has begun with a bang (rather literally!) and promises to continue apace. Beauty sleep now calls, not that it's ever done me much good, but The Great Bacon Cook-Off and Brunch is tomorrow morning. We judges will need all our wits and taste buds at their best for that. I sense some real competition is in the offing.

Cheers!

Davedeb hope everyone feeling well! For me well let me tell you, we had a great tranquil BEUTIFUL state here and then it happened! Mutants of all descriptions decided on us from all directions. All kinds of help was provided to each new partisipant that arrived. Have you ever tryed to back in and set up with 4 to 5 mutants guiding you? They moved in droves up and down the camp area road telling their outlandish stories for hours. Just as you were thinking things were getting better, here comes a new group. Believe me, where your at your at least safe from the continues hugs, handshakes and "Where you from" questions!

Got to get to bed now, tomorrow is another day, and for many we will have to go through the steps of introduction all over again. All kidding aside, this group is everything you would think it would be and for me, that's a GOOD thing!
