Thanks a bunch Don and Sandee.
It seems only fitting that a retired air traffic controller should be the one getting a mutating group safely to their destination.

You might be a mutant if . . . . . . . you drive down a familiar highway and turn left instead of the usual right JUST to see what's in that direction.

We are enjoying the GC@CL immensely. Meeting folks for the first time, in person, and discovering that you have SO much in common even with our differences (e.g. religions, political persuasions, backgrounds, home states, etc.) that it's comfortable just sitting around and YAKKING.

The campground is wonderful and actually is less expensive than Wednesday night's gravel parking lot with a few little trees in West Memphis. Our group rate reflexes those savings.

Thanx to our fearless leaders for their efforts in organizing this mutant gathering. YOU gotta do it when able and available.

If you take so many pics of Sena that she no longer turns away but does give you a stern look....you might be and RV Mutant. Click image for larger version

Today's BACON cook-off & BRUNCH

It has been a nice sunny day with temps in the mid 70's. Here are some photos of our gathering this morning/afternoon...

Glad to hear that the weather is good. The news keeps talking about tornados out there. Gonna have my own bacon party tomorrow morning. Too bad I'll be the only one around to eat it. Actually not quite.

Nighty Night

Hi all STM's

Wish Jackie and I could have joined in on the GC....maybe next time.

Sooo funny story, I had my yearly physical in January....no issues.

The Wife has hers in Febuary...returns with lab orders for me. Seems my snoring keeps her awake so doc orders a sleep study for me.

So tonight I find myself in a sleep study lab.... wondering how the wife will sleep all by herself.

To all the STM's, I sooo wish we could've attended the GC. Sounds like it is a great time. Just to update everyone--after many $$$ and a great Vet, our cat Mo the Magnificent (or malevolent), depending on his mood, is on the way to a full recovery. Hopefully we can make the next GC. Thanks to all.

Been there, done that. 2 hours into the sleep study they woke me up to fit me with a CPAP machine. Long story short, after 4 years on that cursed machine I decided to trim down, lost 60 lbs, kept it off for 2 years & and no longer need it.

Now I see people posting...

After all the chatter on RVM2RVM (at least in my e-mail inbox) yesterday afternoon, and then with hardly anything last night, I was beginning to get concerned that 'stuff' had gotten so deep (HOW DEEP WAS IT?) that everybody was mired down and couldn't get back to their RV's to post...

Actually, I'm really sorry Carol and I couldn't figure out a way to get there this year, looks like you're all having a great time....but one day you'll see us with my flamingo lights and 'flowerdy' Hawaiian shirts...

I know Sena is a girl, but she's rockin' a GREAT flattop there...
