Okay so Tim aka huntnski decides to make a full frontal assault on us with his RVM32 sign which covers his entire windshield of his coach and lights up to a soft blue hue at night. He intended to upstage all other mutants puny little RVM signs like mine and Wayne's and Bob's and others. C'mon Tim admit it! LOL
Now this just didn't sit well with Wayne and I cause after all... Everyone knows things are bigger, or better in Texas and we do like to brag just a tad bit. Besides that we were not gonna be out done by some young upstart Arkie from Boones farm or wherever. So Tim let me unveil to you my mutant brother our answer to your sign...
And ours changes colors of the rainbow! YEE HAW!!!!!

The background music is the band playing at the Mardi Gras party.

Oh what a night
Can't begin to tell you how enjoyable the Paul Byrd band was. Their music entered your body and every pore and fiber enjoyed the artistry of their work. Instrumental talent that would be tough to beat even if you're in Nashville, Memphis, or Detroit city. They were goooooooooooood. And to steal a phrase "and that's all I have to say about that".
Thanx Steve (RVM2) for organizing a seriously fun week. The mutants are fairly nice for never meeting one before. LOL Seriously, what a wonderful group of RV mutants. When the reprise happens, you that have missed this one need to jump on board.
BTW - - someone who posted today caused the website to stretch the width of the screen. See if you can repost somehow to solve the problem. I think Wayne can help. snicker snicker
Good night all

R U an RV Mutant too?
Here it is the poem:
This is the words to "My House by Kacey Musgrave.
Who needs a house up on a hill
When you can have one on four wheels
And take it anywhere the wind might blow?
You don't ever have to mow the yard
Just hang a map and throw a dart
And pray to God the engine starts and go
Water and electric and a place to drain the septic
Any KOA is A-OK as long as I'm with you
So come on hitch your wagon
To the living room I'm draggin'
If I can't bring you to my house
I'll bring my house to you
Parking lots and county lines
And counting mile marker signs
Where the buffalo and antelope roam
Greetings from Niagara Falls
One more postcard for the wall
Off in our own sweet home away from home
Water and electric and a place to drain the septic
Any KOA is A-OK as long as I'm with you
So come on hitch your wagon
To the living room I'm draggin'
If I can't bring you to my house
I'll bring my house to you
In Washington, in Idaho
In Oregon and away we go
To Tennessee and Arkansas
No, we won't stop 'til we've seen 'em all
'Til we've seen 'em all
So what else could you ask for?
You don't even need a passport
To see the whole world from our living room
So come on hitch your wagon
To the happiness I'm draggin'
If I can't bring you to my house
I'll bring my house to you
If I can't bring you to my house
I'll bring my house to you
It don't matter where we go
We'll never be alone
Anywhere beside you is a place that I'll call home

I'm having such a great time, the people here are amazing and I feel truly blessed to get to share this part of my journey with them. And a special thanks to flagship and his beautiful wife for all they have done for us mutants, how lucky are we to have found the gems they most certainly are and to be part of their journey, thank you both!

Shara - too kind and many thanks!
This is a great great group of mutants - and as I said several times - sure wish the other RVMs could have been here.

We do too...
There will be another opportunity - another day - another curiosity. But there will only ever be 1 First Ever Grande Curiosity at Catherines Landing.
I have to say - you and all STMs are with us in spirit.

Good Morning RVMdom! We'll be on rainbow watch today as a little rain fell in the wee hours of the morning and the skies are still a bit dark. It is clearly daylight here at the FEGC@CL and I believe RVM Meteorology has indicated a modest chance of rainbow activity. That's a fitting forecast for rainbows as they are modest and a little shy at first - but as any good mutant knows, once they've been coaxed from hiding they really brighten up the RVMdom.
So good morning all - don't forget we have a little RVM devotional this morning at 11 am. There will be coffee at the pavilion around 10:15.
Mutants heading into to town for services or other mutatations remember - there's a Bring Yer Own Bloody Mary Bar from noon til three today. I was more excited about this a week ago than I am at the moment.... We'll see how it goes.... LOL.
So good morning RVMs - hope all had a wonderful time and the Mardi Gras Bash. We will see ya a little later today!
RVM2

Don't tell me, I'm mutating into a morning person. It's common for me to sleep until 8:30 or 9:00 each morning. Here at Catherine's Landing and the Great Curiosity I'm awake at 6:15 and unable to go back to sleep (visions of the coming day's activities roaming around in my head). Tomorrow it's up at 4:15 (that a.m. folks) to join Steve and Annie and the DW on the great fishing expedition on Lake Ouchita (sp?).
Attendance was down last night. Some mutants were afeared that wild game night was road kill armadillo picked up by the Texas brigade on their way to the GC@CL. Instead the smoked turkey and ALL OF THE WONDERFUL SIDES were delicious.

Twas a grand time last night, just like all of the other activities here at the GC.
So far, you know I cannot dance a lick. And Nola took pics for proof.
But a 14 year old mind does not care.
Does it bother any of you to know that I had more fun than all y'all? :-)
However, STMs, I did take a pic or two of youse! (Hee-hee!)
