Our new mutant mascot Snake is enjoying the view as we continue on our journey but he needed much comforting as he realized he was leaving all his mascot buddies behind to continue their own journeys.

The weather here is cloudy and cool today. It's as if the heavens are sad at the thought of mutants scattering as well.
Anything for a fellow mutant

You might be a mutant if...

...you put up with a throbbing tooth so you don't miss any GC fun.
...you delay your departure just so you can help a fellow mutant.
...you ask fellow RVMs to frequently let you know where they are so you don't have to worry about them.

Safe travels all my mutated brothers and sisters!

Hi Barb,

I was happy to help I would have tried to do more but Dwayne didn't need to be bumping into me while he was working, it will be sad to go tomorrow but the memories and the photos will keep this GC well documented. I feel most fortunate to have been able to attend and meet all that were here.

Cheers !!!

R U an RV Mutant too?

Diane, Barb, Shara, Jeff, Tim, et al...

You have encapsulated my thoughts very well.

RVMs. Family. Becoming synonymous? Well, YEAH!

Landed in Nashville KOA North. Like it!!!

We are tired. Coming down from an incredible emotional high! Plus some physical motions that are not usual for me.

Saw sooooo many brown signs along a road new to us between Memphis and here that invite us back. We dont need no stinking bucket lists no more!

I have rope lights. There! i said it.

Happy and safe trails, folks!

R U an RV Mutant too?

Manoman, what a day!!! Starting off with framily (or mutantamily, as Barb puts it), prepping and chatting and hugging, with help from all those muscular guys to help Martin do the necessary with Stinky Slinky et al, it went on to the actual parting and heading down the road again.

When we stopped for lunch, my continuing education continued: never put an unsecured pitcher of liquid in a traveling fridge. How many years have I been traveling and hadn't got that into my noggin yet?! Duh! Not one, but 2 such containers let me know in no uncertain terms that this was not the way to fly. A quart of OJ and part of a jar of simple syrup showed up on the floor first, and then all over the interior of the fridge.

I didn't know a refrigerator had so many nooks and crannies that would hold liquid. Nor did I know how many times a floor needs mopping before the stickiness is gone.

The sun is out, we are in Hayti, MO halfway home, and ready for dinner.

More later, Muteys all.

Cheers!
Sue

Suspinz, some things happen for a reason. Some do not.

Did you need a reason to clean all inaccessible areas?

RVMs do things for a reason! Or...not...as it were.

Um. Nevermind!

"M" stands for Mutant, not necessarily Monaco.

Hello ya'll. We are 260 miles away from CL and Earlene and I can say:

We miss you.

What a great bunch of STM's ya'll are. In all our days mingling we never met one STM we did not like.

Friday is homeward bound.

Sad indeed seeing everyone leave, we got moved over to Lake Ouchita State Park and started are duties as host. Some minor problems, first Mary stepped into a pile of a inconsiderate pet owners dog pooh, then dropping the levelers at a site we were familiar with we bent the two rear pads on the wheel stop and last but not least the bedroom slide motor had broken completely off the housing! Oh well we had a great meal meeting the remaining mutants at a steakhouse and I sit now at a McDonalds (using their wifi) trying to order a new slide motor and checking up on my traveling muteys

Can say enough about all the fun and friendship. Since we don't have wifi at the SP I'll check back when I can, drive safe!

We're home

Mary Ann and I got home safe and sound at 8:30 pm ET after 11 hours on the road (670 miles). Could not stop for the night when the S&B bed was only 3 hours away.

Enjoyed the GC very much and look forward to an encore. Also if you are in central Indiana anytime give us a call.

Our new mascot stood proudly on the dash board all the way home.

BTW - - my lost fish now has been verified as a 35 pounder. Picture was lost in a technological incident soon after returning to shore. Honest.

Mary Ann just puked upon hearing this post.
