The various suggestions for the Son of FEGC have been interesting and with advance planning very doable. To put a bit of perspective on the plans from my place return to

Catherine's Landing is 4962 miles
Sault Ste Marie Michigan is 4628 miles
Wisconsin Dells is 4211 miles
St Paul Minn is 3801 miles
Mt Rushmore is 2784 miles
Provo Utah is 2230 miles
Les' House is 832 miles.

Being president of Cheapskaters R Us I would willingly opt for Les' place but I'm sure setting up and leveling in his driveway will yield its own unique set of difficulties, not to mention the objections of DW wondering if the que to the showers will ever end?

BTW I have found that bureaucratic tourist information sites should all be shut down. If you write asking for information they return your e-mail with a whack of URL's attached. So much for promoting tourism regards pretending to be doing something.
OK, I'm going to vote for Les's place, too. I know he will give us a group rate.

And Sena and I can't cross any US borders. If we do, we won't be allowed to come home. Our govt in it's infinite wisdom considers that importing. And since the mid 70’s it's been illegal to import monkeys for private owners. They let labs import them to torture, but not for us to love them.

Personally, I don't think they should take any animals from the wild and send them anywhere, unless it is to save the species. And that's all I have to say about that.

Just to let y'all know: the new Cherokee is now bought and paid for. Happy dance! And I got to drive the first drive, too. Niiiiice!

Now all we have to do is wait for Martin's wrist to self-repair, so the base plate can go on and we'll be roarin' to go...again!

Hang in there, Steve & Annie. Stuff gets done in its own time. Not necessarily your time.

BTW, I'm still finding OJ where OJ doesn't belong.

Cheers!
Sue

I believed Les when he said he released them far from his house.

I suppose I should amend my comment about taking animals from the wild. I was thinking mainly about animals with higher intellects, such as monkeys when I commented. I have no problem with hunting and fishing. Most of that activity is designed to keep wild populations in balance with their available food supply. It's better that the numbers be reduced than to have them starve in winter.

And Les, I hear rattlesnake tastes like chicken, unless it bites you. Then it tastes like revenge.
