Oh, OK Moonrover, it's YOU that "borrowed" my prototype. Please return the phone ASAP. I have a marketing plan that will make me able to afford the RV lifestyle that I want to mutate towards.

Your invention is well tested, but do you have any idea how hard it is to text a message with that gem?

I have a Samsung flip phone that I used for 8 years. Kept saying "when it stops working, I'll get a smartphone," but it just wouldn't die. Finally got tired of my friends laughing at me and got an iPhone this January. Gave the old "dumb phone" to DH, and it's still working fine, though he'll kill it faster than I could have.

We also have rope lights that DH bought a few years ago to renovate some Xmas yard art and way overestimated how many feet we needed.

So we can now decorate in Mexican, Italian, or Christmas themes.

I usually limit Dale's "decorating" to one strand, though--don't like to feel like an airstrip!

We have only had one set of rope lights and it took us a couple of months to find them. In our Hitchiker Champagne that we traded in on our Bounder there is a brown light switch on the wall above the bar. We would turn it on and could not, or so we thought, see any kind of light anywhere. We looked every where even outside. We called the dealer. They couldn't tell us what it turned on. They finally called the factory. Even the factory couldn't tell us what it did. So, one night I got curious and turned that blasted switch on again and to my shock and awe on the very top of the cabinets a light came on. I turned it off and on again to make sure I wasn't seeing things. It came back on. I got on one of the chairs and looked up there. One set of rope lights about 6 foot long. Turns out they were put up there to be used as a night light. First time I had ever seen that and haven't seen it since.

By the way, if any of you mutants are motoring through north central Ohio this August ... try this:

http://www.bucyrusbratwurstfestival.com/

That IS the main street, so you won't be able to miss it if you are "driving through". Normally I don't subject myself to crowds, but the smell of brats cooking is too good to miss. Home made ice cream, just like grandpa did it. Huge crispy string fries, not the greasy stuff you get at state fairs. You can even get kraut made and seasoned the right way.

Try as you might to find real German food on your travels, but an entire street fair of "stick to your ribs" grub ... is rare.

I can't believe that one has a disco ball. I'm afraid riding in that thing would trigger a seizure of some sort.

Now if was single and forty years younger maybe I'd .... uh well ... maybe not even then. I couldn't dazzle em' with brilliance then, so a disco bus would not have helped.
