Well, shucky darn! Wayne you're right! I just tried it and it works!! I owe you one. I'm running A/C and the frig and we are cool!
Barb:

I run one AC on a 15 amp extension cord that is a 12 ga wire. I do that at the house quite regularly as I don't have a 30 amp service for the RV.

Fellow mutants we should all study the photo PushedAround posted. There are several artist along with some great photographers all that do a great job at picture composition and grouping. Do we all not agree there are issues with this posted picture?

1 A true mutant would have either had the fur babies hold their tongues in or had other members in photo stick their tongues out.

2 Moved the main center of attention in front of the elder gentleman and the puppies.

3 Provided more photos for examination, remember " It didNt happen if there is no pics"

Lol

Actually a great pic!

Grumpy Cat, and my version of Starry Night (this is the very first acrylic painting I ever did; I did it in February).

Super! Another mutated talent in our midst! You've just been painting since February? Or that was your first foray into acrylics? What got you started?

I especially like your Starry Night, capturing the feel of the original w/o being a slavish copy. And the moons: Blood Moon, New Moon and...plain ol' Full Moon? Interesting, 'cause it makes me ponder.

Is there a Mutant Art Gallery in our future? At the rate folks were learning from Diane, I see much budding talent, and plenty for a show! Hop to it, Muteys!

Cheers!
Sue
PS: Who doesn't grin, giggle, or snort at Grumpy Cat? Good job!

Dwayne:

I spent Sat working on the awnings and was finally able to get all of them down (extended). Two of them had to be helped with a big pair of channel locks as the springs were rusted. I'm going to get some new pulls as these aren't in very good shape. I'm also looking for some of those special rivets to reattach the arm supports. I'm very pleased with how the job is going.

Thanks for the help and information on how to do this.

they are slower than we want, but they do get there.

Take care an get well soon.

The only hurtle is my ability to drink without aspirating. Do to the radiation, my taste buds don't work and I have dry mouth. Will be working with the speech therapist on that. I passed the physical tests just fine, but they still want me to work out on some machines.

I also want a leave of absence to go home and take care of personal matters. That is going to be brought up in todays staff meeting. I have a life outside of rehab.

And there was NO BACON pictured, or maybe it was tucked neatly into the gentleman's hat?

And as difficult as it may be to believe, keeping it that way is your doctors and medical teams number one priority.

It's also hard to keep perspective that these care takers are dealing with other folks too. Of course we are the only one that matters why don't they get that?

Perspective is the face of adversity Mike. We mutants are all with you and sending you healing Ommms and energy.

Remember - as much as ya want to choke the life outta them.... Blessed are the caregivers.
