RULE 29? Nobody told me about no stinking rules. Next you are going to want me to send dues to Wayne or something. It's only burnt on one end.

Lots of pain and heavy meds until then. Probably no rehab since rehab will not help the useless tip. Your prayers would be appreciated.
Prayers your way Steve.

Steve and Maryann, many ooooommmms and healing thoughts your way for SIL. What a dreadful thing to have happen! As a friend of ours told Martin, life sometimes makes a sudden turn, without even a turn signal. I wish him well as he goes through this.

All the best!
Sue

Steve and Maryanne we will keep your SIL and all of you in our prayers. I can relate somewhat but I was luckier than him. I did same thing same way but only cut off the tip on my thumb. Luckily they re- attached the tip of my thumb and other than no feeling in the end of my thumb and a scar I am fine. But when that happened every time my heart beat my thumb felt like a balloon expanding and deflating. Hope they gave him some strong pain meds.

Steve and Mary Ann -- many Ommms headed towards your SIL. Few things hurt more than damaged fingers, except maybe throats. I've been down both those roads.

Diane -- enjoy your nap curtesty of anesthesiology tomorrow morning. I sure never missed my gallbladder and I'm betting you be glad when yours is gone.

At this rate all of RVMdom will be on pain meds by Memorial Day. Y'all be careful out there!

So here is how it works. My meds are due at 8. I call at 8, but don't get them till 8:30. That means that I can't request them until 2:30 (every 6 hours), which means I won't get them till 3:00. That half hour makes a difference. Nurse can't seem to grasp it.

I realize it is because of work load, but it still sucks. Quit whining Dunner.

Papawto5, I send all the healing Ohhmmmsss I can muster and wish him as much luck as I had when I darn near cut my right index finger off with a table saw last fall. It healed beyond the expectations of my doctor and I have almost 100% use of it now. They expected me to have almost no use of it when they were working on putting it back together. Bodies sometimes do the unexpected when healing.

Ohmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Papa Steve (sorry but at the GC that's what I would call you when Mary and I were talking, so as not to confuse you with the Plano Steve) we'll sent a few words out to the Big Guy. We'll start with thanks that s-I-l is still with us and all parts still attached. That could have been much worse than it is.
