Home base central AR. We generally host at local State Park May/June then head out. Always back home for the seasons, Thanksgiving, Christmas, deer, and duck season. Plan on making IRV2 rally in Myrtle Beach Sept then home.

It's actually Dometic. Common mistake that I think the company did on purpose to get people to buy a Domestic product.

Well I'm back, sort of. After playing the lead actor in a convoluted adventure of real life on the road, there has to be a book in the making. Our real story is more geared to RVers who can relate to the power of Murphy's Law.

Now I see the Mutant thread has exploded to nearly 16,000 posts while I was "away". As I recall it was around 600 or so when I last checked in. The brotherhood is up to number 64, yes? Amazing how only 64 people could cause that much dust. Sorry we missed out on a real-time face-to-face with this chatty crowd. Likely I would not have been able to get a word in edgewise; being the shy and reticent soul that I am. Listening, smiling, and being awesomely handsome is the extent of my social interaction at RV gatherings. Hey, somebody has to fill that role, eh?

Oh yes, the Moonrover bus is in the big bus general hospital as we speak. It has the best care available, and a private room too. Prognosis is that it will be like new by the middle of June. We plan to take it for a therapy vacation soon. Bus will need exercise ... owners will need a vacation as well. Even our bus cat misses his "ride". Every morning he looks out the patio door toward the vacant parking area hoping to see a big bus. It was his favorite retreat from danger. He could skinny up on top of the rear axle and hiss at the evil neighbor dog who is too fat to get under the bus. How do I know that he was up on the greasy axle, you ask? Telltale cat prints on the hood of my car that suspiciously look like grease.

So off I go, for now, to read all posts since #600. Should take about four rechargings of the iPad.

Later, my friends .....

Welcome back to the fold Moonrover. When you get thru playing ketchup you'll discover that we now have 80 declared Mutants riding the rainbow.

Remind us where you are and there may be a mini-curiosity in your future. Mutants of all varieties are on the move now that it's spring.

Hello Mutants,

Pouring rain in Paducah, KY. Suppose to be better tomorrow. Went downtown yesterday and found some nice cafe's and watched the barges on the river.

Abbie doesn't do rain well.

Are any muties going to the Texas Boomers Bash over Memorial day at Lake Conroe? We're thinking about going since the GC was so great. We've talked to Jeannie and the plans are still up in the air. Wayne has already told me that Earleen's foot/ankle will not be good enough to go.

I'd Like to hear from anyone that's leaning in that direction.
